Elena Gilbert being a normal school going teenager first does no recognise that stefan and damon are actually vampires. But soon as she realizes this elena understands the truth that she y herself is a doppleganger. These three characters have to fight through every situation and finish the undine work.
The series had to finish last year i.e in 2015 but due to increase in demand the series has stretched this year as well. But the directors have officially announced its last year as 2016. The series is right now streaming on CW Channel as well as ShowBox.
